Dr Salmon has over 20 years of experience working within the NHS, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and ADHD. She also works closely with families and wider support systems, providing holistic and collaborative care. Dr Salmon leads our clinic in Surrey.
Passionate about completing comprehensive assessments, ensuring differential diagnosis, and a holistic understanding of an individual is at the forefront of Dr Salmon’s work.
Dr Salmon believes that the foundation of psychological work is thorough assessment and collaboration with individuals to develop a shared understanding, or formulation, of their difficulties. This formulation then guides psychological therapy, which is tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families.
Drawing on her clinical psychology and family therapy knowledge, Dr Salmon offers a systemic approach that supports people in better understanding their difficulties by examining, exploring, and changing their relationships with others.
Dr Salmon has extensive expertise in understanding neurodivergence as a lifelong experience, and in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, those with forensic backgrounds, and women with autism and ADHD.
