We offer a range of neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADHD, autism (ASD), Dyslexia and Dyspraxia (Developmental Coordination Disorder). Having paediatricians within our service allows us to provide formal diagnosis of dyspraxia, alongside a collaborative assessment process involving our occupational therapists.
All assessments begin with an initial in-person appointment, where Dr Kilbey/Dr Salmon meet with you or your child to build a clear picture of strengths, differences, and any current concerns. For children under five, assessments are paediatric-led, so that early development is explored in a way that is appropriate and supportive.
If you’re unsure which assessment is the right fit — or whether an assessment is needed at all — this first appointment can also be used as an initial consultation. During this session, Dr Kilbey/Dr Salmon will talk through your concerns with you, share her professional view, and offer clear, practical guidance about the most helpful next steps.
Please note that ongoing therapy is not offered as part of the assessment, but we have a range of clinicians whom we are able to signpost to if needed.
